This was a dream project for me with lots of potential. The closest thing to book illustration from the 19th century in the contemporary age is concept art. I really enjoyed the beginning of this project.

Most of this artwork was produced very quickly and never got past being very rough ideas of what I had pictured. I am still working toward the goal of producing the finessed type of concept art that I aspired to when I started working on this.
